Terms & Conditions

ABOW Systems provides AI workflow consulting and custom automation services, including but not limited to AI-powered workflow builds, operations systems, custom dashboard applications, and ongoing support. The specific scope of any project is defined in a separate written agreement or proposal provided before work begins.

All projects begin with a discovery conversation to understand your needs. Following that, I provide a written scope and quote. Work begins only after the scope is agreed upon, a deposit is received (where applicable), and any required access is provided.

Payment terms are based on project size and are confirmed in writing before work begins:

• Projects under $1,000: payment in full before work begins.
• Projects $1,000–$3,000: 50% deposit before work begins, 50% upon delivery.
• Projects over $3,000: 40% deposit, 30% at the agreed midpoint milestone, 30% upon final delivery.

Deposits are non-refundable once work has begun, as they reserve my time and cover initial work. Final deliverables, including any transfer of project ownership, are provided only after final payment is received.

My systems are built to run on Claude and Claude Cowork (Anthropic's AI platform). A paid Claude subscription is required to operate any system I build for you. This subscription is your responsibility and is separate from my fees. I will guide you through setup as part of onboarding.

Each project includes a reasonable number of revisions as specified in the project agreement. Revisions beyond the agreed scope, or new features not in the original scope, may be quoted separately or covered under a support retainer.

You agree to provide timely access to the tools, accounts, and information required to complete the project, along with timely feedback at review points. Delays in providing these may extend the project timeline.

Upon receipt of final payment, you own the custom system, workflows, and deliverables created specifically for your business. ABOW Systems retains the right to reference the work (in anonymized or general terms) in its portfolio and marketing, and retains ownership of any underlying methods, templates, and general know-how used to create the deliverables.

ABOW Systems uses AI tools, primarily Claude and Claude Cowork, to design and build the systems delivered to you. All work is reviewed by me before delivery. You acknowledge that AI-assisted systems require human oversight and that outputs should be reviewed before being relied upon for critical business decisions.

Support retainers, where agreed, cover maintenance, minor updates, and troubleshooting as defined in the retainer agreement. Retainers are billed monthly and may be cancelled with written notice as specified in the agreement.

ABOW Systems provides services on a best-effort basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, ABOW Systems is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of systems or services provided. Total liability for any claim is limited to the amount paid for the specific project giving rise to the claim.

Either party may terminate a project with written notice. If you terminate after work has begun, you remain responsible for payment for work completed up to the termination date. Deposits are non-refundable.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee, without regard to conflict of law principles.

ABOW Systems may update these Terms from time to time. The current version is always posted on this page with the effective date.
